We enhanced the WeatherFit app, a weather app that not only shows the current conditions but also suggests appropriate attire based on the weather, by developing iOS widgets. These widgets present the city, temperature, 'feels like' conditions, and, most importantly, an illustration representing what the user should ideally wear given those conditions.
The introduction of our iOS widgets has considerably enriched the user experience of the WeatherFit app. Users can now conveniently view the weather conditions and clothing recommendations directly from their home screen, without needing to open the app. The simplicity and practicality of this feature have led to positive user feedback and increased app usage.
